Hickory Smoked Beef Brisket (Whole or Sliced)

From a thawed state: Remove brisket from plastic packaging. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place brisket on a rack in a roasting pan. Add 1 cup water to pan. Cover with foil and heat for approximately 30 minutes.
Or, place brisket in a roasting pan and pour 1 to 2 cups of BBQ sauce over brisket. Cover with foil and warm for approximately 40 minutes.
